Last Thursday, 21st. In January, another event organized by the Estonian Cryptographic Union took place. This event was the fourth this season and we definitely hope to organize a new one soon.
Due to the crazy boom in the cryptocurrency market in recent months, as well as the large number of new subscribers to our Cryptographic Money Estonia group on Facebook, we decided to direct this event to novice crypto enthusiasts who want to get started with cryptocurrency but don’t know exactly how to get started. This is how an event called: How to start with a crypt?
We originally chose Palo Alto Club in Telliskivi as the location of the event, because we have also held previous events of the season there and the cooperation with them is always pleasant. In this way, some people also had the opportunity to come to the scene, where we also always offer food and drinks from the sponsors of this season, Paxful and Swipex.
Unfortunately, due to the ongoing pandemic, the restrictions of the Government of the Republic and, ultimately, to ensure the health and safety of everyone, we only had to do the event in a virtual way. Fortunately, this did not bring us any new obstacles, and we were able to quickly transform the whole idea into a virtual form, Zoom.
In the first part of the event, Artur Schaback and Indrek Mossov talked about Paxful, introduced its structure and taught participants how to make their first cryptocurrency bag.
The first 100 to register through the link during the event also received 10 € of bitcoin in a cryptocurrency bag created by Paxful.
In the second part of the event, Estonian cryptocurrency expert Asse Sauga introduced the principle of the block chain and various cryptocurrencies to the participants and talked about their necessity. There was also talk of mining and the different risks and opportunities for investing.
Both between and at the end of the event, the participants had the opportunity to ask various questions and it was nice to see that the participants were active and interested. A total of 106 new cryptocurrency participants participated in this event.
We hope to organize a new event soon, where the participants can come on the spot. So far, many thanks to our performers Artur, Indrek and Asse and many thanks to everyone who joined us in Zoom.
